Field Technician/Inspector Trainee

Position Description:
  • Conduct field testing procedures for soils and concrete at construction sites
  • Complete related reports documenting tests performed
  • Transport soils and concrete samples to the Branch Office, and process same through the Branch testing laboratory
Position Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Capable of lifting 30 lb. concrete cylinders
  • Willingness to work off-shift hours including some weekends
  • Good oral and written communication skills




Construction Inspector

Position Description:
  • Demonstrate competency in Field Technician tasks
  • Conduct on-site inspections of construction methods and materials including soil placement and compaction, concrete quality, placement, and reinforcing steel, and masonry
  • Document inspection results in report form for the client and branch office

Position Description:
At CTI, our Branch Managers are at the center of our business model. This exciting and dynamic position requires excellence in four key competencies:
  • Operations Management: Lead all day-to-day branch operations including direct supervision of project management, dispatch, laboratory, administrative and support staff.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the technical excellence of all branch service providers, and insure that the highest levels of quality and integrity are the standard deliverable to our clients.
  • Client Management: Enhance our client satisfaction ratings by providing thorough construction tests and inspections in the most timely and professional manner, and maintaining continuous communications to build long term relationships.
  • Business Management: Manage all branch resources to maximize growth and profitability. Our Branch Managers have full P&L responsibility for their business units including budgeting/forecasting, staffing, and margin and cost control.
Position Requirements:
  • Solid Management/Leadership skills to interface with Staff, Management, and Clients
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the Construction Industry with an emphasis on management and/or quality control.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer a significant plus
